Title: Tall Pines (alternative) spectator venues?
Post by bcarley on 11/14/3 at 15:04:07

Hi all,
Myself and a couple friends have been avid fans of the Tall Pines Rally over the last five years, and although it is exciting, I've found the choice of spectator spots to be quite limited.  This year seems even more so, with the Lovell-Freeman Lane being the only daytime location (although I know, it is new this year...).

Does anyone have more information on other roads used by the racers that might be suitable for spectating by a few responsible fans (that won't be stupid and get run over)?  Any insight or extra info is much appreciated.  Thanks!

By the way, is there a complete map of the stage locations available for public consumption?
Cheers,

Brendan Carley

Go and volunteer at the rally.

Thanks.  Unfortunately, I can't get there until Saturday, and my friends are not up for it.  Maybe next year.

Any other info that would be useful?

Yep.  What Andrew said!  A sure fire way to get ANYWHERE (within your volunteering assignments) on ALL the stages is to volunteer.  Your friends can stay at the spectator spot, and you can tell them how awesome all the other stuff you saw was.  Volunteering, best seat in the house!  :)
