They are trying to set up a "Cannonball" run type race across Canada for next September.

I don't know about their timing . . . Targa Newfoundland runs from September 10-18, 2005, and this event will start on the 18th. I sure know which one I'd rather be at!! ;D

The Cannonball Europe was pretty eventful this year, with the Spanish police temporarily seizing all vehicles and drivers being fined for illegal street racing.
