Title: VW race motor package for sale Post by dubrally on 01/18/5 at 20:13:47 I am selling my built VW race motor and tranny for a race or serious performance street application. The specs: Match ported intake Stage 2 port and polished custom built Group A rally spec solid lifter 2 litre 16V head. Schrick Group A 284 degree cams both adjustable ARP Studs Decked and perfectly square Compression ratio depending on HG config max 12.75:1 (current set up) Block displacement 2.1...l Custom JE pistons Stock con rods with ARP rod studs C&C machined timing belt tensioner Balanced Liestritz two piece wrapped race header This motor has no miles on it since the head came off to install a new head gasket and adjust valve lash. Prior to this regular maintenance it had seen less than 50 race KM. It is an extremely tight and well built motor by Power Automotive. All receipts are available and I will provide the full life progression of this motor action vs. reaction side of things all the 20 plus dyno pulls for tuning after each modification if the buyer is interested. To get the power to the ground the gearbox is extremely tough and race proven. It has seen 400-500 race KM and has performed impecably since day one. Specs on the box 020 rod shift large shaft 16v tranny Short ratio gearset ratios available AVX (US spec eco diesel) ring and pinnion "423" final drive I believe but would have to confirm. Quaiffe LSD Aggressively lightened flywheel 4puck race clutch and HD pressure plate. Only ever used MOTUL racing gear oil changed after every event. Since it's first use 3 years ago it has been completely dissasenbled and inspected thouroughly 5 times and has less than 25 race KM on it since it's last check up where the 5th gear was replaced. The engine and gearbox combo will reach respectably high speeds in an extremely short period of time. Complete deal all of it goes together. In many respects this motor is a work of art and it really hurts to let it go. dubrally@cyberus.ca for inquirees Warren |
