Title: 2005 Four Star Motorsports Rallycross Series Post by AlanO on 06/02/5 at 13:38:22 Four Star Motorsports and the Maple Leaf Rally Club are proud to present the 2005 Four Star Motorsports Rallycross Series! The 2005 rallycross series will be returning to the Dungannon Recreation Centre in Bancroft, Ontario. These events are intended to provide safe, affordable rally competition for novice and experienced competitors alike. Classes are available for all cars and the series is suitable for street vehicles. The series will run under CARS RallyCross rules, so roll cages and five-point harnesses are not required. Dates: July 24, August 28 and September 25. Incentive program: - Four Star Motorsports is offering 10% discounts on 13" and 14" gravel tires for rallycross competitors. 15" tires are already available at reduced prices. - Four Star is also donating a selection of prizes to be given out at each event. - All volunteers for the 2005 Black Bear Rally will receive a $10 rebate (to be paid in cash at the event) for their entry in the July rallycross. - All MLRC club members will receive a $10 rebate (to be paid in cash at the event) at each rallycross. The August and September events will go ahead as scheduled. The new date is tentatively set for October 16, pending confirmation from the landowners. Online registration will open following the Black Bear rally in late July. Thanks for your patience. |

If all else fails, I'll come up and work the event..... but might be spending that weekend swapping an engine... we'll see how it goes. Lost: 1 chrome exhaust tip, used to hide the horrible exhaust "unbending" that was done to the car. Last place seen...... lower pit area. If found, please return to the blue vw fox with the funky side-exhaust, no headlights, and brake lights mounted inside the car! :( Excellent track..... if only the car was running properly..... when you can't even get it to rev to 5k rpm, and it bogs down in 2nd, you know you've got problems. |

Who knows it may still be down there. I didn't remember to go into that part when I picked up the arrows, etc. Anyways, my thanks to Alan for a well put on series so far, can't wait for the next one! |

Thanks to all the competitors who came out and participated. Thanks to Four Star, the town of Bancroft, MBS Structures, the Hoover family, the Canadian Sport Compact Series, and the "War of the Wheels" for supporting the events.
