Title: FS: Two metre handheld HAM Radio
Post by Robert Roaldi on 07/31/6 at 17:49:36

I am selling a ADI AT-201 handheld two metre radio. I bought it 2nd hand and have had it for about 2 years. It is in ok shape cosmetically, maybe 7 out of 10. If I remember right, it has 40 memories, tone squelch, 5 watt output with 12 volt input, about 3.5 with the normal NiCd battery but best to look up the specs on the web.

I have 3 NiCd batteries that are not in great shape. They don't hold charge for very long. New NiCd and even Ni-MNH batteries can be bought for it for around $50-$60 Cdn. There is a drop-in charger and a plug for connecting to a 12 volt source that is terminated with a hitch connector, not a cigaratte lighter plug so most of you will have to modify it to use it in a car.

You can have it all for $50.

James,

As Ryan said, I live in Ottawa. But I will marshalling at the Galway Cavendish rally and will be in Toronto on the weekend of Sept 8-10th. It's also possible that we know people who will be going to the same rally events who could be volunteered to be transport.

Robert

James,

If I don't sell it first, I'll bring it to Galway.

See you there.

Robert
