Title: PASSING OF ANDREW RYALL Post by rosswood on 12/13/6 at 21:18:55 Ryall, Andrew Thomas Elliott- After a courageous struggle on Tuesday December 12th, 2006 at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto. Andrew, of Georgetown, in his 29th year, beloved son of Carolyn and Alan. Loved brother of Karyn Strachan (Ashok) and Andrea (Tony) Ferrera. Cherished uncle of Sebastian, Natasha and Alex. Andrew will be dearly missed by his soulmate Brandie Myers and best friend Alex Vorne. Dear nephew of Ken and Glenda Ryall, Brian and Vicky Dobbin and Michael Dobbin and Lori Dowling. Dear grandson of Mickie Dobbin. Loving cousin of Christine, Jason, Mandy, Emily and Tom. Andrew will also be missed by his many friends at Sobeys and his pets Pretty and Bonnie. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Andrew's Life will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 16th, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. In memory contributions to St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto or Erinoak Serving Individuals with Disabilities would be appreciated. To send expressions of sympathy visit www.jsjonesandsonfuneralhome.com Grateful Thanks to Dr. Joanne Meyer and the loving and special I.C.U. Staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre. A Personal additional note from close friend of the Ryall family, Glenn Hamilton: Andrew's death was so tragic. He fought so hard, endured an awful lot of trial and error medicine, but in the end he lost. His hospital care was fantastic, but pancreatitis is not something "we" know much about or how to fight. If only 1% of cancer money went here ... Enough said. Despite the illness, Andrew had been selected by his Sobey's store as Employee of the year. Andrew ended up in the top 3 employees Nationally at the AGM. I'm not sure of the actual award that he won, but it was a podium finish! |
