Maple Leaf Rally Club hosted the second Mini Rally of the 2008 season on Monday, May 12th with thirteen teams entering the event.

Winners of awards were:

1st Beginner – Car #9 – Sara K. & Vasilli R. – 8.7
2nd Beginner – Car #2 – Patrick L. & Shawn G. – 12.6
3rd Beginner – Car #13 – Wu Wai. & Elsa C. – 15.7

1st Novice – Car #6 – Bryce B. & Derek V. – 3.5
2nd Novice – Car #12 – Jane L. & Bruce L. – 5.5
3rd Novice – Car #11 – Alexei S. & Richard G. – 8.6

1st Expert – Car #1 – Paul & Rita M. – 2.8
2nd Expert – Car #7 – Roger S. & Christina . – 4.4

Full Results will be posted on the MLRC website at www.mlrc.ca

So after two events the leading teams in the Series are:

1st Beginner Driver & Navigator – Patrick L. & Shawn G. – 19
2nd Beginner Driver – Heather B. – 11
2nd Beginner Navigator – Elsa C. – 14
3rd Beginner Driver – Sara K. – 10
3rd Beginner Navigator – Matt P. – 11

1st Novice Driver & Navigator – Jane L. & Bruce L. – 19
2nd Novice Driver & Navigator – Bryce B. & Derek V. – 18
3rd Novice Driver & Navigator – Carlyn R. & Alan R. – 15 *tie
3rd Novice Driver & Navigator – Alexei S. & Richard G. - 15 *tie

Clearly a great battle going in the Novice division – any of these teams could be in the lead after the next event.

1st Expert Driver & Navigator – Paul M. & Rita M. – 20
2nd Expert Driver & Navigator – Tim L. & Steven L. – 9 *tie
2nd Expert Driver & Navigator – Roger S. & Christina C.- 9 *tie

The June Mini is all set to go so come out tomorrow night – Monday, June 9th. And bring out a new team with you.
