Set your recorders (or your alarm clocks): Targa Newfoundland is on TV this weekend.

The one-hour feature on Targa 2008 will make its Canadian debut on TSN on Sunday, February 8 at 11:30am Eastern (check your local listings, etc.). No details are available yet on repeat broadcasts.

The fast-paced hour follows one of the tightest competitions in the history of the event, set against the dramatic backdrop of eastern and central Newfoundland. The 7th annual Targa Newfoundland featured a record six factory entries.

The show, which will also air on SPEED Channel in the US and on MotorsTV in the UK, was produced by TV2GO of Toronto with play-by-play from TSN’s Vic Rauter and regular rally commentator Paul Chater. Dates and times for the SPEED and MotorsTV broadcasts will be available soon.
