Oh, darn students. They come home from the party, check the web and buy the wheels :D....Grrrrrrrrrr

If they do not fit on your car (i hope not!!!), I am lining up :'(.

They're mine! Mwahahaa! I'm also 99.7% sure they'll fit the pimpmobile, so don't get your hopes up too much :)

And for the record, I was up studying - the good parties don't happen until later in the week!  ;D

Hmmm, 0.3% is not much of hope :'(

Enjoy them  >:( and the end of the week party as well  ::).

Yes I had these wheels on my 4WD Corolla wagon for about two years - they came from a guy in Australia who put them on E Bay.

They look really cool but I decided they belonged on an competition car being used the way they were meant to be. So I put them up at a bargain basement price and they are going to a good home.

Sorry Paul & James. Don't know what is considered fairest time or way to post. Maybe for a high demand item, the seller should specify an earliest bid time, then have a bidding war?

Anyway Paul, there is still a chance these wheels will not fit Jamie's car, in which case you can have them.

James, you have no idea of all the stuff I have here. If it relates in even the vaguest way to an old Corolla, I probably have it.  Anybody want a turbo that I have on a 1600 Corolla engine?  Or huge NSX brakes that were adapted to fit a Corolla? Paul or Jamie, I bet that turbo could make your cars real sleepers. I'd sell that cheap too if I knew it would be seen in use. Anyone want a 4WD Corolla with a beauitiful conversion to a Corolla GTS engine?

All this hate! You too can have ridiculous sleep problems and spend 22 hours a day awake... My ebay habit is ridiculous now!

After my tire/object hitting fiasco's at Tall Pines, really happy to have these, I've been crawling Kijij and Craigslist and forums trying to find MR2 Rims since. I guess they're rare now, which sucks...

What came first, the chicken or the egg?
I dunno, but I'm sure sucking at roll up the rim this year - 2 wins, 149 losses. I should have one a Toyota or a boat by now!

P.s. 2 hours of sleep is standard lately, 4 is a victory, 6 and I'm telling everyone and anyone about it!

(Most off topic FS post ever!)  ;D

You never know. If the turbo fits to my Tercel I might put it in, start behind Ryan in the next RallyX and overtake him  before the end ;D.

Yeahhhh, dream on...

Jaime, I have beautiful bottlecaps and would be willing to exchange them for some crappy old rims, say OZ?...  ;)

Would those be the rims that I beat one back into shape with a plastic mallet at TP last year?  (only to discover a big slash in the sidewall)

Paul - Would you have four nice bottlecap centre pieces you could sell me (for my street Scirocco)?

Admittedly, some white powder coated bottle caps would be totally bitchin' for a street car (but still, no trades!).
Something about white rims just gets me excited!

Pssst...don't be so loud, Jaime might hear you.

And, as a matter of fact, if I offer a nice hammer and good behaviour on the SS  :-[, will you come to TP with me again?

I think this is the part of the thread where I call shotgun on Doug and offer him the silly seat in the Mazdog? ;D

Also, I'm surprised Dan Sprongl hasn't done the usual and mentioned that he has XYZ in a storage unit (that he's trying to clear out) and that he can order you 14" compomotive and speedline rims ;D ... Thats how every thread goes around here, and thats how I like it :P

Not sure I can give either of you an answer... more likely that I can service at Pines than I can codrive at Pines.  Codriving = club membership + CARS license + Friday off work + buy/borrow HANS (and retrofit helmet with HANS posts)...

Heck, I'd be happy if I can get out to the rallyx atleast one this year with the Scirocco... but I'm doubting it...

And Anthony... will 13's fit the Scirocco?  I've got LOTS of 13" VW rims at the farm.

And ya... Where's Dan?  Probably out scouring the storage units!  ;)

Got any 13 inch tarantulas? I think anthony is trying to build a set up.

Still no Dan... Wow!

To take this totally off-topic - although we are talking about Toyotas

Anyone interested in a Celica All-Trac?

There is one sitting at North Bay Toyota in their "as-is" area. I haven't stopped for details, but if someone is interested I would pop in.

There is also a Audi S4 94-95? vintage, lots of surface rust and crappy wheels that they want $1895 for.

Dave:  I have a weakness for "as-is" cars - please don't point them out.

Doug - it seems I buy way more then I actually use these days.

Since it's my thread originally, I'll state that the wheels have been spoken for with three other people waiting in line.

Now for my own threadjack - if anyone knows of an older Toyota 4 Runner (say pre 1996) with good body and under 300,000 km with 5 speed tranny, let me know. As is preferred.  SR5 preferred. Don't mind need of mechanical work if the price is right.

You and me both brother. I just don't have the cash and my current inventory of 2 Volvo 244s exceeds my wife's tolerance level. Any more and I would have to sleep in one of them.  :o

I can't drive by dealerships without wandering around their lots looking for the orphans.  ;D

Forget the All-Trac, I stopped in tonight on the way down to see my mom. It belongs to someone who is pulled it out of storage and is having it serviced and fixed up to put it back on the road.

You are safe Anthony!   :)
