This has been re-listed due to non-paying dead-beat buyer.
1985 Merkur XR4Ti, 2.3lt Turbo 300 HP, 5 Speed, Quaif LSD and much more.
Replica of Didier Auriol's WRC winning Panach Sierra Cosworth in '88 Tour De Corse.
Street legal & passes Ontario E-testing.
This car ran in the '07 & '08 Targa Newfoundland in Open Class. Car is amzingly fast and an absolute blast to drive and could be even faster and finish higher with an experienced crew.
Car is highly modified and the spec sheet is huge so please email for a copy and more pictures. *Car is featured in the January 2010 Performance Ford Magazine and been shown at the All Ford Nationals in Carlisle many times. This car can easily be configured to run gravel with only a few minor changes and it fits in the Group 5 class as well as the Classic division. This would be an excellent car to campain for the 2WD championship.
Car comes with many many extra parts, 20 tires (Michelin Gravel & Michelin Asphalt), 20 wheels, spare body pannels&glass, mechanical components, trans, diffs etc.
Never been wrecked or crashed.

Somebody needs to buy this.

Move the exhaust under the passenger door and watch for the massive FLAMES.

Wish there was a way to keep it and rally it as it should be but finacial constraints left over from doing 2 Targa's has drained the pot.
We've always wanted to make the jump into stage rally and thought we'd be able to make it. I guess in afterthought we should have started there first but the temptation of Targa was too much (at the time).
I'll just keep buying lattery tickets ;) Who know what the future holds for us?????

Bump! and price reduced to $18,000 and will now include the 19' Miska flatbed trailer which has 4 new tires and new brakes.

Well since there seems to be no serious buyers out there I am about to start selling off parts in a logical order to keep it a rolling shell.
As parts come off obviously the price on the remainder will drop.

Starting off with the TerraTrip:
303+ with the optional remote display, remote zeroing unit & 2 wheel probes, and the TerraPhone Professional intercom with 2 helmet units plus 2 practice headsets. $750 for all

8 (4&4) slightly used 15" Michelin Gravel tires. Model & size to follow ( I have to dig them out to look). Got these from Dan @ FourStar during clear-out. $400 for all

6 Brand New BFG G-Force KDW tires 205/50/16 $450 for all 6

And so the saga continues with tire kickers and such. There seams to be misinformation being circulated around regarding what it would cost to convert this car to Gravel Spec. At last check it would be under $3,000 and most of that is changing the suspension and I can help with that. This car was built to CARS rules that were in place in 2007. Only one small section of roof cage needs to be added to bring it up to current rules. The driver's seat has already be replaced with an FIA Sparco Rev. The harnesses are good to end of 2010.
If you think you can buy or build a car like this to this level for double the current asking price, you're dreaming.
Included are many many spare parts and I have available my driving suit/helmet/boots/gloves/socks/carry bag. There is also a 19' Miska flatbed trailer available.
Complete Rally Package.
I could even be talked into crewing/technical support for a while until you learn the car.

Make an offer.
Last chance before this car is stripped and sold off in parts.

Have you tried adding it to http://www.rallyclassified.com/ ? It would be a sad day to see this car get parted out, I was hoping it would eventually get ran on gravel. You could also try to drum up some interest out west!

I have sent an email today to arrange for a CARS inspection and see what may be required to have a log book issued.
This should clear up all the guessing that has been going on.
