Thanks to the organizers, officials, marshals, scrutineers, radio crew and the behind-the-scene folks that made Tall Pines 2009 a very memorable experience!

It was a long road back but I cannot think of a better first event! It was a great event!

We acheived out goal of finishing! Yippee! Thanks John!!

There were a lot of "firsts" for me to deal with with and was obviously a little nervous. I was driving for the first time in many, many years. I was in a car I had never driven before, and I was using pacenotes for the first time.

A special thanks to David Amor for all the prep work leading up to the rally, Ray for helping us with get settled, Donna, for all your assistance prior to the event, Linda for fielding the thousands of questions, Rich and Eloise Sullivan for the reassurances. Fortunately, seeing so many familiar folks and their reassurance certainly went a long way in helping! Thank you!!

Also a big thanks to the various teams and crew that came to our help when we needed some assistance at service, especially the crew of car#33! Only in rallying is the car that is looking to move past you also prepared to help you continue!

I am really glad I was able to get this seat time and I really enjoyed it tremedously. So that I could focus on driving, I had asked the crew to detune the car which they did on Saturday morning, which helped me become adjusted to the car. The small fire on A4 affected our progress a little, but fortunately there was no lasting damage. We also lost our terratrip and odo and had to try and follow the cars ahead of us during all the transit so that we wouldn't get lost. We couldn't have asked for anything more than finishing... 23rd was a bonus!

I agree wholeheartedly!!! This was a GREAT event!

My scenario was very similar to LawrenceR's. First time back after 15 years in a new car which I had never driven before. Notes? WTF are Notes????? :) :) :-[

My only goal was to finish and we achieved that! As well, a HUGE Thank You to Martin Loveridge, Jeff Lantz, and numerous other KWRC members who helped me get the car ready in time.

Also, Thanks to Jeff Lantz and Mark Ockwell for keeping us going with great service.

Thanks to Jeff Hagan for coaching me about notes and providing his services as codriver.

No, thank you, Dave! :)

I have to echo what's already been said: thank you to everyone who had a hand in putting the rally together. I know that it's a ton of work for many people - all of it is appreciated.
