Title: July 12th Mini-Rally out of Bradford Post by Slowpoke on 07/07/10 at 09:02:52 Bruce and Jane Leonard have crafted the latest in the MLRC series of Mini-Rallies. 107km with some previously unused roads, Instruction styles are: distance to turns tulips columnar story giant tulip Just $25 per car, and pretty much everyone goes home with a little something; trophy or prize. Location Husky House Restaurant Husky Car/Truck Stop, Hwy 400 & Hwy 88 (Exit 64A) Bradford, Ontario Registration: The Registration desk opens at 6:30 PM on the evening of the event. The following items are required: Car ownership (or written permission from the owner) Proof of valid automobile insurance Valid Drivers License A clipboard, pen, paper and digital watch are very useful. Map lights and calculators are also handy Start Times: Car 1 will start at 8:01 PM and is due back at the finish by about 10:15 PM. The rallies are approximately 100 kilometres in length. Entry Fee: Entry fee is $25 per vehicle. Discounts of 50% off and 75% off are available for the 6th and 7th events in 2010. |
Title: Re: July 12th Mini-Rally out of Bradford Post by Slowpoke on 07/10/10 at 08:58:54 If you're not familiar with the roads up in this area, most of them are 80km/h with some crests and sharp bends to keep the driver entertained. It's not winter rally like, so the navigators don't suffer, and there are 1 minute pauses scattered throughout the rally to give the navigator time to work through the notes. It's a quick drive on a Monday night. Usually no traffic on the 400 at that time. |
