We have decided on some essential changes to the Special Testing Day at the Golton stage on Sunday, August 29th in Bancroft :

(1) The day will now be titled ‘Super RallyCross/Test Day
(2) The fee has been reduced to $100 – note – we will not be using the Fish & Game Club building or parking lot, plus you must bring your own lunch.
(3) The cap will remain at 10 cars, however 5 spots will be held for rally cars and 5 for rallycross cars until Friday, August 13. After that the 10 spots will be open for anyone who applies.
(4) Performance rally cars and crew will run under usual Test Day rules while rallycross cars will run under RallyCross rules (RX crews see MLRC website for details).

This will allow some non-caged cars to check out the changes to the course as well as performance rally cars, plus James wants to test out a new RX scoring procedure. With a limit of only 10 cars, everyone will easily get more than double the runs of a normal rallycross day.

Original Message - We will be running entirely on the Golton property - RallyCross course/ Pines Spectator Stage. We have been doing a lot of work on the course that includes trying a new combination of heavy crushed stone and limestone screenings in the corners that have been getting chewed up the most, plus we have created a jump for the Pines stage. Now we are offering the 29th as a combined Test Day/ Course Development Day. The plan is to have the loader and operator on hand to touch up the corners and to make adjustments to the jump, according to the drivers' comments.

(for Performance Rally cars) The driver/passenger must hold a valid
2010 CARS or equivalent rally licence - either a CARS Regional or National
performance licence or a 2010 RSO RallySprint licence - available through the RSO

The cost will be $100 (changed) per car. Note - this is a further reduced rate, as you are also assisting us in course development. You must PAY IN ADVANCE by e mail Interac
transfer, by VISA, by direct deposit or cash. A full refund less a $30
service charge will be given for any withdrawal up to five days prior to the
Testing. Details of refund for withdrawals less than five days prior to the
Testing to be negotiated, depending on the number of cars that participate. Full refund if the Organizers cancel (highly unlikely).
