Title: posting pictures Post by Bruce L on 02/11/11 at 09:00:30 Could someone please detail how to post pictures in the forum? I was able to do it once last year, but the same method isn't working for me now. I've hosted the images on my Picasa site, and... now what? as soon as some one shows me, I'll have Ross' MLWR pics up. Bruce |
Title: Re: posting pictures Post by RyanHuber on 02/11/11 at 09:15:16 Bruce, once you have a Url for the jpg, then you put image tags around that link, with img before and /img after, both surrounded in square brackets. I can't actually give an example because it tries to actually do it. Or, there's a little picture icon above the text field in the reply window, just put the Url between the tags of that. |
Title: Re: posting pictures Post by Bruce L on 02/11/11 at 09:19:56 Picasa gives me 2 options. There's this (embed image): <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/vQbyCyElZGO4KMCjZpKVtQ?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_Cxdk6WVH_3M/TVU9EHXURWI/AAAAAAAAILA/5WJqDY7rL88/s144/Assorted%20Rally%202011%20039.jpg" height="108" width="144" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/bjleonard17/MLWR2011?feat=embedwebsite">MLWR 2011</a></td></tr></table> and this (link image): https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/vQbyCyElZGO4KMCjZpKVtQ?feat=directlink maybe I should just put the link as opposed to embedding |
Title: Re: posting pictures Post by RyanHuber on 02/11/11 at 10:03:05 I can't just do it on my phone, but if you load up the page with the image, and right click on it and choose copy image location you should be able to use that Url. It has to end in the .jpg extension. |
