Post by Dave Cotie on 03/06/11 at 16:16:44 My wife and I are contemplating a couple of days at Mont St. Marie skiing with the kids over March Break. **Note to Organizers** - rally people will have economic spinoff at other times of the year too! ;) Any recommendations on where to stay? Here are my needs: - Cheap - Decent - does not to be the Waldorf Astoria, but I am travelling with my wife and kids. - Something for the kids to do (indoor pool, etc.) would be a bonus. I recently stayed in Huntsville, On for $98 per night and it had all of the above (Best Western), but I am struggling to find anything in the Ottawa/Maniwaki area for less than $200 per night. |

Side Note: The pool also has water slide!!! ;) http://www.chateaulogue.com/en/accueil.php While you are at Mont St. Marie chances are you will see Big Ian say hi! |

Title: Re: Places to Stay in Maniwaki Que. Post by rosswood on 03/07/11 at 08:05:53 About 10 minutes up the highway from Maniwaki is the Panneau 105 - Perce Neige workers stay there. It is basic but very inexpensive. Even less expensive is Black Rollway, but that is 45 minutes into the woods. |
