All volunteers will receive a hot meal after the rally and a free t-shirt. We also have some great worker prizes that will be awarded by random draw: Durham Radio will provide one lucky radio volunteer with a $150 gift certificate, and one lucky worker will win a kayak from ClearWater Design Canoes and Kayaks.

Great seeing some of you again! It was a different perspective, yet still very rewarding experience seeing this event from outside of the car this year.

Congrats to the competitors, and a huge thank you to all workers, organizers, volunteers, and anyone I may be forgetting.

A special thank you to everyone who provided us some bug spray! The little critters were relentless!

Wishing everyone the very best,

Matt

Congrats to Chris and Brian for a phenominal drive on the weekend!! Setting some amazing stage times.

Congrats also to Ryan and John for a great finish and Warren and Ray for rounding out the podium with a great drive!

Thanks to all the workers and organizers for putting on a great event. That has to be one of the most fun roads in Canada for any driver and I'm sure everybody would say the same!!

Shame we couldn't finish the day, but sometimes these things happen  :(

Nick, I was really sorry when word came over the radio that you and Kelly had pulled off mid-stage. Must have been very disappointing. There was a great competition going on for second place.

Indeed Chris drove incredibly well. I was at the Flying Finish of Stage 2 and 5 and observed in-stage for parts of the other stages. Watching Chris and Brian come through was just like watching Antoine and Nathalie.

With the super-close competition for second place, it was a good thing that the new RSO electronic timing equipment performed so well, capturing times to the 10th of a second. At the Flying Finish of Stage 5, there was one occasion when three cars came by within 10 seconds. The first two were literally nose to tail. All three times were recorded perfectly.

Once again,  a big thanks to the organizers, everyone from MCO, and all the volunteers who came from all over to make the event possible.

Congrats to Ryan/John, Warren/Ray, Ian/Doug for a fantastic race, watching you guys trade seconds and have soo much fun doing it was great!  and certainly a shame that the Nick/Kelly couldn't have been there at the end.

Here's a link to our Youtube Channel, were I've posted up stages 1-5, unfortunately leaving the GoPro running for an entire turn around means no battery left for the last stage!

and ofcourse...thanks for all the good words!

love the frenetic hub of activity around the start timing official :)  You had to be there to see how flawlessly the timing equipment was and how user-friendly it was to new users.

a bit of footage from LHFR on my youtube channel

Better late than never.

This camera was responsible for the timing eqp failure to read finishes during SS5. No electronic devices should be placed near the transmiiter...
