RSO Timing Equipment

As most Ontario rallyists know RSO is currently acquiring an electronic timing system.
This purchase is the most expensive item RSO has ever purchased.
Those who have seen it in operation are amazed at its efficiency and ask why we have made this purchase sooner.
Like all things it comes down to money. Fortunately the stars finally aligned and some used equipment became available along with an offer of a loan to assist us in this major purchase.

Loans however need paying back and we are happy to say that three clubs-to date-have given or pledged us donations towards this purchase

Maple Leaf Rally Club, Peterborough Motor Sports Club and Club Rallye Perce-Neige. RSO thanks these clubs.

A number of people have asked how they to can Donate and support this purchase with this in mind we are creating the

'Buy a Clock Campaign'

The Clocks used as part of the timing system are a key ingredient costing several hundred dollars each.

Sponsor a clock at $100 each. [Your name will be indicated on the clock]

Starting light sponsors at $1000
[ This will be a two year sponsorship renewable at a lower rate]
A sign with your name or company logo will be placed on or in the general area of Starting light

Finish line sponsors at $500
[ This will be a two year sponsorship renewable at a lower rate]
A sign with your name or company logo will be placed on or in the general area of the Finish line

NOTE: Start and Finish line sponsors, these are both high profile areas, where the sponsor signs will be seen by all competitors and while we cannot guarantee it, these signs would have a good chance of appearing in You Tube postings, media photos and television shows

How can you make a Donation??

By INTERAC e-Transfer (previously INTERAC Email Money Transfer

You will need to send access password by separate email to same address

By Cheque made out to RallySport Ontario

We had a great day using the New Timing system at LHFR. Worked well all day with Brand new operators. End of day only 2.2 seconds separated 3rd and 4th finishers. Would hand timing have been this accurate???

We have had a number of people respond to our 'Buy a Clock Campaign'

Have you been thinking about and just not send Payment??Don't hesitate now is the time to do it.

The Buy a Clock Campaign has been pretty successful with over 50% of available clocks being sponsored. RSO Thanks all who have helped with this campaign.

We do have a few clocks left if you wish to sponsor a clock for $100 or sponsor at a higher level please contact me

This could be a great Early Xmas Gift for a Rallyist
