Title: SOLD: 1994 Dodge Colt
Post by Steve Hayes on 06/28/11 at 20:57:42

The Specs:

2 door base model coupe 215,000kms
1.5L 12 valve, 5speed manual
gutted interior with APC race seats on custom sliders, both sides are still adjustable, but the passenger side is easier to adjust.
K&N panel filter in modified factory intake.
The head gasket, head bolts, timing belt, water pump, and belt were replaced at 200,000kms.
NGK spark plug wires.
94 durometer polyurethane front and rear engine mounts
lightened flywheel
Magnaflow high flow cat and 2.5" custom exhaust.
New KYB GR-2 front struts and rear dampeners with all four KYB top mounts done last summer
Custom alignment at The Alignment Centre in Peterborough, -1.5" front and -1" rear camber.
Ebay-sourced front, rear strut tower braces and rear lower suspension tie bar.
Powerslot front rotors intended for a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage (10.2" vented versus 9.1" solid)
New calipers intended for a 1997 Fwd Eagle Talon (direct bolt-on) with Hawk HPS pads and Techna-fit SS brake lines on the front.
A pair of 195/60/14 Michelin X-ice tires on the front and a pair of 175/65/14 Nordics on the rear, all four tires have lots of tread.

Additional included Parts:

Techna-fit SS rear brake lines, but they can't be installed unless you convert the rears to rotors.
Evo3 front springs.
front fender sidemarkers and their wiring hookups.
Extra skateboard deck tape (I used it to cover the gas, brake and clutch pedals for nice grip in any conditions)
Rear seatbelts and a few other assorted parts

The Bad:

I do not have any of the original interior seats, but this would only be an issue if you were looking to certify it for street use.
There's an unknown issue with the clutch, however the clutch was replaced at 197,000kms, the issue is possibly just a defective release bearing.
There's a battery light and a brake light on in the dash, but there's been no issue with either in two years.

My wife said it needs to be gone this weekend, so if I get no interest it will torn down for parts and scrapped this weekend. I'm presently looking for $300. Due to the clutch issue it will need to be towed/hauled away, but it was working great driving to work everyday until the clutch issue occurred. I'd like to sell it whole for someone to use as an ice racer/rallycross/autocross/field car.
