Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by maloi on 01/31/12 at 22:05:58 hi car whit 400000 up i can make and ofert because i am looking for iceracing 500 |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/01/12 at 12:35:41 If I understand you correctly, you are offering me $500? Sorry, but I think the car is worth more than that. It is currently licensed and insured and operating on the street. Yes it is high mileage, but it is not some junker that can't be certified which is what most people use for ice racing. |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/02/12 at 10:09:56 Price reduced to $1700. |

Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/08/12 at 21:59:12 I have added up-to-date pictures, rather than the older ones I had. My friend is ready to sell the WRX, so I really need to move this beast! |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/11/12 at 14:17:49 Reduced to $1200. |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by rosswood on 02/12/12 at 07:15:32 I can't believe no one has grabbed that car. It is good for Rallycross, an ideal Recce car, winter beater etc. |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/12/12 at 18:16:08 I can't understand it either Ross. Want to rally-X or run the MLWR this weekend and don't want to use your DD??? Buy this beast. It costs me $35 a month to insure. I have checked - the only Subaru's within 300 km of me (on Kijiji) that are this inexpensive - all of them need head gaskets. So add $1500 to the purchase price - unless you can do the job yourself. Cars like this don't last to over 400k kms without being well cared for. This car does NOT need HG work. I had the car certified in Sept. 2010 and I have put less than 6000 km on it since then. (Like I said - it is not my DD). |

Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/12/12 at 18:42:50 Thanks Doug. I think I may know who you are talking about! |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/14/12 at 22:53:36 Updated pics with the rims and tires that will come on the car. |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/21/12 at 23:23:18 Bump - want to go rally-X this weekend. Come get your weapon! :D |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 02/27/12 at 23:39:18 Price reduced to $1100. Still plenty of winter left! MLRC special - will include full set of spare suspension, partially disassembled 5 spd. transmission and 4 rally tires (if you want this stuff). 8-) |
Title: Re: FS - 97 Outback Post by Dave Cotie on 03/08/12 at 15:06:06 Not that I want to jinx it - but local sale pending. |
