Title: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by Dave Cotie on 03/09/12 at 21:31:17 This is gone: ![]() and it has been replaced with this! :) ![]() 2002 WRX - One mature owner - 99k kms, tasteful mods ( Wing deleted by dealer, etc. ). |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by RyanHuber on 03/09/12 at 22:43:51 Nice! 2002? Be gentle with the gearbox and you'll have lots of fun with that car! |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by Dave Cotie on 03/09/12 at 23:08:15 Yup I should have said - it is a 2002. Gearbox is in nice shape - absolutely no grinding - yes, I will have to keep it that way. New DD to replace the Explorer. Anyone have a cheap set of 205/55/16's they want to sell? This has Hakkas on it and if I get them off quick, they should last one more winter. |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by rosswood on 03/10/12 at 07:58:47 Dave, I just replaced a set of 205-55-16 Bridgestone Turanzas yesterday - kept the best two. I might be able to get the other two back - these tires are about 60-70% worn. |

Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by Slowpoke on 03/10/12 at 08:24:00 Dave, I still have these. Make me an offer: http://www.mlrc.ca/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1330459784 A little bit bigger diameter but it shouldn't rub and will give you better mileage. |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by SuzukiSwiftGT on 03/10/12 at 09:46:39 why would they delete the rear wing? |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by pcrrally on 03/10/12 at 11:24:54 Hey Dave I have many sets of that size. Call me and I'll let you know what I have 613-888-6023 Thanks Pat |

Owner didn't want it. They swapped it for an RS trunk and swapped the badges over. You could get a factory wing delete in the US. |

I'd be interested if you could get the set Ross, I don't need a HP set of tires - just going to be a DD. |

I am not looking for snows - I am looking for summer tires. |

Don't worry if you can't - I missed the note that they may be 60-70% worn. I will hang out on kijiji for a while looking for a set. |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by dtompsett on 03/10/12 at 18:23:56 It's now been in the garage like 24 hours? Why no pics of the rally lights mounted? |

Fixing the e-brake and working on a gas smell (although there is a recall on this). Lights and ham wiring next! ;D |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by RyanHuber on 03/10/12 at 20:01:52 Yeah Dave, they have a fuel line under the hood that doesn't deal well with cold, it was recalled, surprising that it hasn't been done yet though! |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by Dave Cotie on 03/10/12 at 22:55:30 I found the fuel problem. :( It is not the recall, one of the lines right where they go under the back seat and under the car was corroded and pissing fuel out pretty bad. |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by Dave Cotie on 03/11/12 at 15:55:34 Fuel leak and e-brake fixed. Off for a safety tomorrow! |
Title: Re: Out with the Old and In with the New (to me) Post by Dave Cotie on 03/13/12 at 14:58:31 Anyone have a set of stock front springs for a 2002 WRX that they could ship to me? I have a broken RF coil. |
