G5 VW? I bet it is Glen Clark's G5 he ran in Tall Pines about 2 years ago? It is great to see you driving Jeannie!

Thanks for your good wishes, John and Paul. :) It is indeed Glen's TP car. Ferd and I went out for our seat fittings a few weeks ago, and now the car is ready for a test-drive this weekend. Glen has done a lot of work on it, so I really won't be able to blame anything on the car. ;D

This is part 2 of my "dream come true", building on part 1 -- which was taking the 4-day school at O'Neil.

I am very lucky to have Ferd as co-driver. I owe Martin a lot for deciding not to enter GCFR!

All I can say is, we should have a blast! And I was happy to see the field grow, as it will be fun to share the memory with so many rally types that I've gotten to know over the past few years.

I test-drove the Golf on gravel roads earlier this week, and it's gonna be a blast! Can hardly wait for Saturday to have fun!

Thanks, Dave -- Ferd and I had a blast! And Glen was pretty happy that I returned the Golf with nothing more serious than water damage. ;D
