The experience and the excitement of rally driving at a really low cost

This series continues to provide an opportunity for future rally stars to get their feet wet. No special vehicle preparation is required - regular street cars are permitted. The low entry fees and minimal car prep mean that the Rallycross series will provide an affordable introduction to rallying for drivers of all budgets and skill levels.

Vehicles are divided into four classes to level the playing field and provide good competition within each group. Class one includes all front wheel drive cars, Class two is all rear wheel drive. Class three is for non-turbo four wheel drive and last but not least, Class four to for all the turbo four wheel drive cars. All colours, shapes and sizes of cars can compete in rallycross.

All this for only $50 if you sign up online or $70 if you sign up on the day at the event.

All events are held out of the Bancroft Fish and Game Club, 10 mins south of Bancroft on Hwy 62 which is about 2.5 hours north east of Toronto

Helmet Check,  If I have a helmet that has DOT 96 on it, it cannot be used during RallyX?  If so, I will start looking for another one.

Guy 2012 Rulebook states

28.1.2.3 Mandatory equipment
(a) Helmets meeting NRR.11.1.6 or bearing “Snell Memorial Foundation” 1995 M or 1995 SA (or
more recent) labels must be worn by all drivers and passengers.
(b) Minimum three point seat harnesses must be worn by drivers and passengers.

I have not seen a 2013 version as yet

Snell M helmets are pretty cheap just think how old your DOT 95 is and then throw in the garbage

Hi,
Is it possible to get some info on the track conditions?
Forecast calls for steady cold, but is there still snow on the ground after last week's "heat wave"?

We cleared the course yesterday. It is in fantastic condition - lightly snow covered and smooth.

A lot of people have been wanted to see pictures of the course. They all get posted to the Facebook Page for Rallycross as soon as I get them. I will work on a widget to get them also posted on to the wesbite as well.

The January Rallycross was a huge success - 30 entries in perfect winter weather and track conditions. A number of records were set - most runs in a day (everyone got 7), no DNF's and fewest extrications. The competition was really close in several classes - check out the results.

Hoping for equally good conditions on February 24th.
