Shannonville Stages Rally Thank you

Shannonville Stages Rally, PMSC and Organizer Peter Watt would like to thank all volunteers for helping with SSR. Many of you drove considerable distances in some pretty nasty weather to help thankfully weather on Saturday eased a little. I even spotted a piece of blue sky on the way home.

SSR creates some challenges due to the somewhat uniqueness of the event. I find it somewhat amazing that when a situation arises the many volunteers adapt to the situation.

Clean was fast and efficient, perhaps a little to efficient as several cones belonging to Shannonville got picked up. However that was sorted out.

While entry level was low every competitor had a blast with extremely tight competition.

Can we run this event again?? Certainly PMSC will discuss this however unless a way is found to boost entries or have NON Rally cars compete in someway it doesn’t look hopeful.

Many thanks to all who put on this rally. Hopefully it can survive in the future, because it's a blast and it's nice to have 1 event where we can push and not have to worry about breaking the car as much :)
