1990 Nissan Rally Truck
6 point cage 5-point safety harnesses RLC electronic odo (5) Michelin gravel tires on rims CARS logbook
This is my last attempt to sell this truck on the web. The truck is a great way to get to run stages without spending a lot of time and money. If you're dreaming of getting that EVO or Subaru and dicing with ACP at the front of the pack, forget it, this is NOT the vehicle for you. If you just want to get started in rallying, read on.
"How do I get started in rallying?" is the question every newcomer asks. Unfortunately, it's easier the more money you have. Motorsport is like that. If money IS object, then here's a rough guide just what it will take to get you to the start of Stage 1:
Preliminary expenses for you two, driver and co-driver are $2500. (This includes club memberships $200; medical exams $200; first aid courses $200; licences $200; helmets $800; driving suits $800.)
With the above preliminaries out of the way, running the first regional will cost about $1000. (This includes entry fee $400; Gasoline $150; Lodging, meals, misc. $450)
The total so far is $3500 and you still need a car. Buying a street car and building it into a rally car will cost an easy $12,000. ($5000 for a mid-90's sedan, $2500 rollcage, $1500 suspension, $500 harnesses, $1000 tires/rims, $1500 misc.) For many, this also takes years or, in some cases, decades.
I'll sell the Truck for $1200, ready to rally. For details please call 905-473-9555, days Mon-Fri. No e-mails, please.
