WEll, there is only one stage and it is run 4 times.    The road is called sherbourne lake forest access road I believe and is approximately 10-12kms south of minden just off of Hwy. 35.  You must park on the side of hwy 35 and walk in.  Please pay attention to all that the marshals say as the event will not run if there are spectators in restricted areas.

Hope you make it and have fun!

John

Oh, by the way bring LOTS and LOTS of bug spray!!!

Best way to spectate that, or any rally is to volunteer to help out!

Yes, they will as the road we use is the exact same this year as it was last year.

4 times?  Is it 4 stages, or eight stages?  How long is the road?  I'd even prefer, as a spectator (though I'll be working), a shorter stage if it meant more passes to keep it under 50km total.

It is 4 stages.
I don't remember the length of the stage(s), but overall length of the race is about 90 km.

The stage is just under 12km I beleive.  I will be going up next week to do the route check and can tell you all more later.

The supps are now ready I beleive and there WILL be a group 5 award for any who qualify!

Looking forward to it.  Grin

Thought I would try something other than Tall Pines (I am still going there too!).

Plus this is so close to my house, probably not much more than 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Closest rally by a good measure.

Rant:
How come I have to look at the Supplimentary Regulations to find out when the rally starts and where the HQ is? No where on the Spectator page or the Home page does it mention any locations or times. Are they trying to discourage spectators?

Real Questions:
How does the spectator area work? Do you have to park at the beginning of the road and walk in? or If you can drive in, will you be stuck there all afternoon until the road is re-opened?

Sorry about that.  We are not trying to discourage spectators, this was an oversight that I will rectify ASAP.
