PRIZES AND SPONSORSHIPS

The Motorsport Club of Ottawa Lanark Highlands Rally, being held the night
of 30 October, out of Maberly, ON, is pleased to announce that
Williams Performance Friction Products have come on board as a major
event sponsor.  This sponsorship is in addition to Subaru Canada
providing prize money for each class the Ontario Road Rally Cup (ORRC)
series at each event.

For over 30 plus years, Williams Performance Friction Products have been
formulating and manufacturing brake pads. Their core business for many
years was the OEM market, such as supplying General Motors, Ford and
Chrysler.

Williams Performance Friction Products also provide
technical expertise and custom formulations to other leading brake
manufacturers in the Western Hemisphere and continue on with
research and development in their newest venture, auto racing.  
The Lanark Highlands Rally is Williams first rally sponsorship.

Along with covering the cost of event awards, Williams will provide
performance brake pads for the vehicle of the winning driver
in each of the three ORRC classes.  

Already a CASC-OR affiliate partner offering product and service discounts
to all members of CASC Ontario Region clubs, Williams sponsorship of the
Lanark Highlands Rally allows the event organiser to give more back to
the grassroots competitors and volunteers.

The early bird rates are over.  Entry fee is $85 now.  For those few who know the route it's well worth it!  

I think we have about 23 teams slotted in right now.

I picked up the event souvenirs tonight (free to all competitors and volunteers), and they're really nice.
