I am very pleased to announce that the Ontario Performance Rally Championship ( OPRC) has added a 6th event to it's 2005 calendar. Since the Quebec national events are not permitted to have a regional portion to their events we felt we could not only help the events by making them part of our series but also give the Quebec competitors with 4wd drive cars a smaller series to run their cars rather than the national series where there is a lot more travel and expense involved.

Competitors will count their best 4 out of 6 events. Yes, this means a Quebec based competitor could win the Ontario championship. To score points they must hold a membership in a RSO club.

In a way, we hope to get a slight rivalry going amongst Ontario and Quebec teams. It should make for an exciting series. It will include both small and large events all in one compact series with less cost.

The 2005 Performance Schedule of events would be,

February 4-6 Rallye Perce Neige/Maniwaki
June 18 - Four Star Motorsports Black Bear Rally
July 1-2 - Rallye Baie Des Chaleurs
August 20 - Galway-Cavendish Forest Rally
Sept 8-10 - Rallye Defi Ste-Agathe/Duhamel
November 25-26 - Rally of the Tall Pines
