I wish to thank all of you who helped make the Black Bear such a success
yesterday.  With the change of date,  many who had signed up for the June
date were unable to make it yesterday.  Despite a few new people signing on,
we were still quite short and a few who were expected did not make it,
creating quite a scramble.  I thank those of you who were so good about
changes in plans and not getting your request as a result.  You did a great
job.

Things ran very smoothly and the event finished right on time.  The teamwork
was awesome.  People who took on jobs they had never done before did just
fine and I think had fun doing it.  Everyone demonstrated a totally positive
attitude.

Competition was intense with the overall win going down to the last stage.
Richard Wong and Nathalie Richard just edged out Peter Thomson and Rod
Hendricksen by a few seconds.
