Tall Pines Worker Update: 24 Oct 2006
10/25/6 at 16:57:08

First a big thank you from the Pines team to the 41 volunteers who participated in the Work Day on this past Saturday.  It was a record number of workers, but we had lots to do and everyone was finished by 5 P.M.  Everyone who attended the Work Day pitched in with great enthusiasm, whether it was clearing blocked culverts, repairing rough sections of road, delivering letters to residents, posting road closure signs or firming up arrangements with sponsors and local officials. All in all, it was a hugely successful and fun day.

Although Worker Registrations have been coming in steadily, we still need lots more help on rally weekend.  If you are planning to attend but just have not taken the time to register, please do so as soon as possible by visiting the website at www.tallpinesrally.com  then to Worker Registration.  If you are a returning worker,  please see the reminder of your username and password at the bottom of this message.  Anyone having trouble with the process, do not hesitate to contact me directly for assistance at ross@tallpinesrally.com. How about persuading that friend or relative to come along?  Remember there are lots of great perks for all workers, including a kayak courtesy of ClearWater Design.

There are still some spots left in the subsidized accommodations, but you should register soon to be guaranteed a spot.  For details and to register, contact Trish Groom at accommodation@tallpinesrally.com

We will require about 20 workers on Thursday, November 23rd to prepare for the weekend, starting at about 11 A.M.  If you are able to assist, please indicate on your Worker Profile and send me a direct e mail as well. With the Notes Familiarization Passes, Registration, Scrutineering and Stage Preparation all going on Friday during the day, we will have lots for you to do on Friday.

Entries are now coming in.  Follow the website at www.tallpinesrally.com to keep up to date.  Come and join us at the Seeded Draw on November 14th at the Musket Restaraunt in Etobicoke.

Looking forward to the greatest Pines ever.

Ross Wood, Clerk of the Course
