President's Prize Rally 06
10/29/6 at 16:20:23

Only one week to go till the President's Prize Rally, the penultimate event in this year's Ontario Road Rally Cup series!  To see a few photos taken from the route, visit
http://pages.ca.inter.net/~guildsman/ppr.html
To read the whole flyer, visit
http://www.rallysport.on.ca/events/PP06.pdf

The route has passed the RSO guru's and the green crew's approval, received their compliments, and is ready to go!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone there on Saturday.  Registration opens at 9:30, and there will also be a short "how-to" overview class for Novices (or anyone who wants to partake) between 9:30 and 10:00.   While 9:30 may seem early for a Saturday morning, remember that it DOES start at a donut shop.  The shop owner is generously letting us take over some tables for our uses, so please come thirsty and buy some coffee and a bagel or something.  (Please do NOT do what one person did last year, and walk in carrying a competitor shop's cup).

See you then!

Thanks and congratulations to Paul & Rita for putting on an excellent event.  Their rallies are very carefully thought out and they are developing a reputation for incorporating some diabolical feature each time.  From our perspective as the marshals of CP 3 & 4 with a return time of under 4 minutes, Paul & Rita are truly twisted!  But it provided a great challenge to keep up with it.

Can't wait for next year - maybe they'll devise a way for cars to be due at CP 3 before CP4.
