Hello Competitors!

One of the most anticipated rally events of the year is fast approaching on the 24th - 25th of November! The 2006 Rally of the Tall Pines will be raising the bar once again for North American rallies.OurClerk of the Course -Ross Wood,is reporting that road conditions are absolutely fantastic. As well, the rest of the Organizing Committee is shifting into high gear to pull together a bigger and better rally than ever before! Come out and see what happens when you mix together great roads, great competition and a top notch event!

Have you submitted your entry for the 2006 Rally of the Tall Pines? If not, don't delay as the deadline for early entries is Tuesday, November 14th 2006. Please support the event by submitting your team entry early. It helps event organizers tremendously with their planning efforts (not to mention their stress levels;). Entries can be submitted on-line, mailed or faxed.



EVENT UPDATES:

• The Tall Pines is happy to announce that we have secured an appearance on CityTV's Breakfast Television with Jennifer Valentyne & The Live Eye Crewin Toronto on Thursday, Nov. 23rd. We'll be promoting our competitors, our sponsorsas well as the extreme sport of rally racing to Breakfast Television viewers across Ontario. Additionally, MuchMusic will also be in attendance to capture all the action at the Pines for their MuchAdrenaline show.
• The Canadian Rally Championship has started airing on Television! Have you been watching? A full schedule has been posted on our website if you are looking for show times. Visit

• To assist competitors with their event preparations, a more detailed competitor route schedule has been posted on the event website that contains Stage and Transit totals as well as Car 0 times. Visit

• The Pines has added a Descriptive Stage Notes Seminar, hosted by 3-time North American Rally Champion and 2-time Canadian National Rally Champion Mark Williams. The seminar will happen at Rally HQ on Thursday November 23rd between 8:30-10:00PM. The seminar is geared towards novice drivers, but is open to all teams. The Organizer Supplied Descriptive Stage Notes have been prepared and created by Tom McGeer and Mark Williams. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and interact with us.
• An updated version of the SuppRegs has been posted on-line. A correction was made to the contact information for our Scrutineers. Also, the Stage Notes Seminar date and time was added to the event schedule.
• Inside Track is currently working to produce another incredible spectator guide. Thanks to all teams who submitted their Team Bio's for the Spectator Guide. VIP Packages are selling quickly.
• If you are planning on purchasing VIP Packages for your friends, family or sponsors you should act quickly before they sell out. VIP Packages can be purchased quickly and easily on-line on our website. We'll handle the rest from there!
• Don't forget if you need additional Banquet tickets for the Post Rally Party / Awards Banquet for your crew, they can be purchased on-line from our website.
