Planet Motorsport to debut new car at the Black Bear Rally

Guelph, Ont. (June 13, 2007) -- The Planet Motorsport Rally Team is
set to debut its new 2006 Subaru WRX STi this weekend at the Black
Bear Rally, second round of the Ontario Performance Rally Championship
(OPRC).

Black Bear will be the first rally the team has contested since
claiming the Ontario championship at the Rally of the Tall Pines last
November.  The team has enjoyed strong results at Black Bear in the
past, finishing on the podium the last two years.

"There is no question the new car will be fast, and I hope to be
fighting for the win with the lighter and stronger platform," said
team driver John Vanos. "With minimal pre-event testing, I will have
to adapt quickly, but I'm confident we can earn a top result!"

"The competition will be tough.  In addition to the traditionally
strong field, we're also facing motocross superstar Travis Pastrana,"
said co-driver Alan Ockwell. "It's not going to be easy but we are up
for the fight!"

The new car represents the culmination of what the team has learned
over the last two seasons.  "This car is sure to raise some eyebrows –
we can't wait to see what John and Alan can do with it!" exclaimed
team principal Iain Fraser.  "We have worked tirelessly to ensure that
the reliability is there, as it was last year, to help put the car on
the podium at every event."
