We're not sure if we have enough volunteers yet, but if we do, we've got a plan in the works to get everyone at least 5 runs, and hopefully a couple fun runs, even with a large entry. If you have anyone who might want to come and get some good spectating in, free lunch, and help out the event, please bring them along! Also, let James know at rallycross@mlrc.ca

The other thing I'm hoping to make happen is to provide every competitor with a set of stage notes for both courses. John Vanos and I will be preparing the notes on saturday, and I intend to bring my printer to give everyone a copy. Hopefully this gives some prospective co-drivers a little something to do as well Wink

What if competitors rotated through work stations. Works well at MCO Slush N Slide events. I think they do it at auto-X too.

The biggest issue with that is the size of the area we use and the lack of other roads to get around on. At the slush n slides, you can drive the perimeter road without going on the course. At a solo, you can walk across the lot. Its impossible to drive around the rallycross course without stopping cars, and walking with woods and buildings in the way is tedious. I wish it was that simple, I know it'd make life a lot easier.

A second thanks to all the workers. That was a chilly day. At least it didn't rain! It is really appreciated.

A big thanks to the organizers as well. The new run plan was decent, maybe with some tweaks it could go even better.

Just no more double runs in the pit  Grin

I have no pictures from this event unfortunately, I couldn't get out into the stage without going down that long road, kinda risky. I'll have some videos of my runs up in a while.

Ok, finally got my video edited up. Wish I'd gotten my first run on tape but sadly the camera stopped for some reason about 15 seconds into the run Sad

First run is John driving my car, his first and only run.
http://media.putfile.com/Bancroft-Rallycross-Round4-JVrun1

Second is my second run, with intermittent power steering acting up part way in and a bunch of missed braking points...
http://media.putfile.com/Bancroft-Rallycross-Round4-run2

Third is my third run, in the pit, where things actually felt decent.
http://media.putfile.com/Bancroft-Rallycross-Round4-run3

After that run I just didn't feel up to the pounding anymore, it'd been a long weekend of it (greencrewed Pines the day before) and I was worried I'd break something. My hotbits are coming off this weekend, hopefully I can get them rebuilt before Pines and I'm going to try running stock tops with them to see if it takes some of the harshness out. We shall see...

I see the overall scores have been up-dated. http://www.kwrc.on.ca/rx.html

Where are the event scores?

Also, for the overall championship are we counting best three-out-of-four, like last year, or are we counting all four as it says on the RSO website? It matters because I may have been beat by a Dodge Ram.  Angry
