The Canadian Timing Association, the group who do timing and scoring for race events in Ontario, is planning to put on a kart race to raise money for lupus research.

The event is set for Saturday, March 1 at Formula Kartways in Brampton.  Some of the event details are still being finalized, but the organizers are trying to gauge interest in the race.

The race format will likely be either teams of 3 or 4, with a minimum donation of $75 (I think this is per driver, not per team).  They're also looking for corporate sponsorship to raise additional money for this worthy cause.
