Suspect / Counterfeit HANS Devices Found Online

A number of suspect or counterfeit HANS Device Sport Series have been found on the internet. These devices are identified by the absence of any friction material, tethers, padding, HANS branding or SFI/FIA certifications. If a customer tries to buy these accessories in an attempt to finish a device you might inquire as to the origin of his product. These devices have not been tested or verified for performance and the origin of these devices is unknown. If derived from pre-production samples they will not be strong enough to protect a driver in an impact.
