SOLDHey Everyone,
I'm selling my Volvo to fund a road racing effort this year. It's an original 5 speed (super rare, Canada only) 850 Turbo wagon, black with tan leather. The car drives really nice, and was originally a Montreal car, so it has almost no rust. The only blemish is a bubble on the a-pillar, otherwise the underside is super clean. The mileage is 190,000kms. I purchased it from a high-end European car shop, which performed all of its maintenance.
The good:
-2.3L I5 turbo, 5-spd 222hp, capable of over 140mph stock. Amazing highway sleeper.
-full stage zero (tuneup) complete w/full silicone vac hoses, all fluids changed
-new thermostat and coolant flush
-new serpentine belt and tensioner and idler
-new front brake calipers
-good compression
-IPD silicone plug wires
-IPD poly upper mount
-EST RIP kit (less than a year old)
-EST intake (just installed, never driven)
-EST Mesh grill (just installed, no blemishes)
-EST exhaust tip
-custom catch can setup (using brand new OEM PCV components)
-Forge recirc valve (makes less noise than OEM)
-comes with a set of brand new never installed SAM lowering springs
-comes with a never installed Joe-P MBC
-Custom 3 gauge DIN panel with VDO gauges, and a narrow band A/F gauge
-Alpine stereo with custom IPod input located in armrest
-Apexi turbo timer
The bad:
-Driver's side seat bottom is torn
-the aforementioned rust bubble
-the car has been in a minor accident before (front fender, not by me), but was repaired well.
-the front airbags have been removed/disabled (track day dreaming)
-there is slight turbo whine, but it holds boost no problem and doesn't leak
This car has never seen anything but stock boost, and runs like a champ. This is the perfect project car. I have almost every stock part I removed, so it comes with lots of spares.
