The Maple Leaf Rally Club is thrilled to announce the 2008 Planet Motorsport Black Bear Rally!

With the help of our new title partner Planet Motorsport, and the continued support of Hot Bits Suspension and ClearWater Design Canoes and Kayaks.  This year's event is set to be very exciting indeed.

This year's event will once again be based out of the beautiful Dorset, Ontario.  The date for the event is June 14, 2008.  You can stay tuned to all the latest updates from the official website: www.mlrc.ca/blackbear.  All the current competitor and spectator information will be posted as it becomes available.  This year, there is a new online entry form for workers, anyone interested in helping out at the event should visit the worker information page.  There's no experience nessesary, and there are plenty of great worker perks to be offered this year.  Including a ClearWater Design Kayak prize draw after the event!

All competitors should note that the opening date for accepting entries is Friday, May 2, 2008.  The online entry will become available at that time.  So be sure to send in your entry early, before June 9th, in order to be included in the seeded draw.
The route for the 2008 Planet Motorsport Black Bear Rally will be revised from previous years.  This year the focus for the route will be on maximizing competitor enjoyment, by keeping the quality of roads and the total stage distance as high as possible.
