Here's some vids, starting with a compilation of launches and the first hairpin, and then my in car videos. And there's the occasional curse in there.

In Run 6, after finally going around the first right hand hairpin decently, I run up an embankment. Why oh why did I have to do that? Sad

The fight for 2nd would have been so close Sad

Hey everybody

First of all - big thanks to organizers, workers, volunteers, helpers, Four Star, MLRC, and all involved in making this event happen; I forgot how much fun it can be!

I've also uploaded about 500 photos in total onto flickr (out of 1300 I took:)); it's sorted by cars so hopefully everybody can find their own easily enough - there's some decent shots in there:). You should be able to download 1280x850 versions.
I have pictures of cars 2, 3/12, 4/10, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, & 17.
Cars 13-15 were too close to my own running, no photos of them - sorry! Sad

(PS It took quite an amount of time to take all these shots, sort them out, post them, etc; if anybody has any photos/videos of car16 -black '04 subaru WRX in return, I would much appreciate it [the closer to original size, the better]

Take a look at the last pic Shocked

I was in my stealthy new '97 Legacy Wagon. The paint is so weathered, you can't even tell what colour it is. People describe it as, "Dark". Could be black, could be blue, green or purple, but it's definitely dark.

I passed you in the right hand lane of the 401 in Oshawa as you were in the left lane going slowly held up by cars that wouldn't move over. Not that the description of the situation helps, as that is a constant situation on the 401...

Regarding your launch video, I wondered why the camera jerked suddenly on the black WRX... then you showed us the butterfly that freaked you out. Grin

Good in-car!

Ya know, it kinda baffles me that we don't allow small pickups to run in Autocross and SoloSprint... but through Rallycross ruts: No problem!! I guess from your last pic... everything is so at risk of rolling, it hardly matters, eh?

P.S.: Dude! Nice wheels!

Yeah, that bloody butterfly wouldn't leave me alone. I think it liked the smell of the sunscreen. It kept coming back over and over again.

Oh man, those wheels are practically a necessity. Jeff (the Cavalier driver, last pic) bent both front steel wheels, which isn't probably all that surprising looking at his pictures Grin

The Compmotives + used rally tires are great, no more worries about bent wheels or de-beads or other garbage.
