Question about tow dolly.
10/12/8 at 11:39:59
Do you have any experience with a tow dolly? I have a tow dolly which swivels about 10 inches. Should I lock the steering on the towed car or not?

I brake for no apparent reason.

I recently towed an 82 Volvo home with a U-Haul Tow Dolly and I locked the steering. No problems what so ever.

Can't really say yes or no. Sometimes we lock it, sometimes we don't.
Usually we're a block away from where we loaded it when we remember we forgot to check the ebrake.

I've used the Uhaul dollys that have the pivoting platforms. We've always locked the steering.
