Paul - Would you have four nice bottlecap centre pieces you could sell me (for my street Scirocco)?

Jaime, I have beautiful bottlecaps and would be willing to exchange them for some crappy old rims, say OZ?...  Wink

Would those be the rims that I beat one back into shape with a plastic mallet at TP last year?  (only to discover a big slash in the sidewall)

Admittedly, some white powder coated bottle caps would be totally bitchin' for a street car (but still, no trades!).
Something about white rims just gets me excited!

Pssst...don't be so loud, Jaime might hear you.

And, as a matter of fact, if I offer a nice hammer and good behaviour on the SS  Embarrassed, will you come to TP with me again?

I think this is the part of the thread where I call shotgun on Doug and offer him the silly seat in the Mazdog? Grin

Also, I'm surprised Dan Sprongl hasn't done the usual and mentioned that he has XYZ in a storage unit (that he's trying to clear out) and that he can order you 14" compomotive and speedline rims Grin ... Thats how every thread goes around here, and thats how I like it Tongue

Not sure I can give either of you an answer... more likely that I can service at Pines than I can codrive at Pines.  Codriving = club membership + CARS license + Friday off work + buy/borrow HANS (and retrofit helmet with HANS posts)...

Heck, I'd be happy if I can get out to the rallyx atleast one this year with the Scirocco... but I'm doubting it...

And Anthony... will 13's fit the Scirocco?  I've got LOTS of 13" VW rims at the farm.

And ya... Where's Dan?  Probably out scouring the storage units!  Wink

Got any 13 inch tarantulas? I think anthony is trying to build a set up.

Still no Dan... Wow!

To take this totally off-topic - although we are talking about Toyotas

Anyone interested in a Celica All-Trac?

There is one sitting at North Bay Toyota in their "as-is" area. I haven't stopped for details, but if someone is interested I would pop in.

There is also a Audi S4 94-95? vintage, lots of surface rust and crappy wheels that they want $1895 for.

Dave:  I have a weakness for "as-is" cars - please don't point them out.

Doug - it seems I buy way more then I actually use these days.

Since it's my thread originally, I'll state that the wheels have been spoken for with three other people waiting in line.

Now for my own threadjack - if anyone knows of an older Toyota 4 Runner (say pre 1996) with good body and under 300,000 km with 5 speed tranny, let me know. As is preferred.  SR5 preferred. Don't mind need of mechanical work if the price is right.

You and me both brother. I just don't have the cash and my current inventory of 2 Volvo 244s exceeds my wife's tolerance level. Any more and I would have to sleep in one of them.  Shocked

I can't drive by dealerships without wandering around their lots looking for the orphans.  Grin

Forget the All-Trac, I stopped in tonight on the way down to see my mom. It belongs to someone who is pulled it out of storage and is having it serviced and fixed up to put it back on the road.

You are safe Anthony!   Smiley
