4 months is pretty tight if you are building a car from scratch! Even if you buy something already prepped, you are sure to find several things along the way. Good luck! Get a production sport car, I need more competition! haha

naa shouldn't take too long. strip it out in 2 days. skid plates a day. drop it off at a shop which will take a week at most for them to do a cage . and there you have a production rally car. not the greatest job but its quick and its and streamlines the process to get a car asap. no clue how long fuel cell would take never had to worry about anything like that yet.

Don't forget - you have to put it all together again after you strip it and have a cage in there.
Also, you can't overlook the seat mounts. They are very important, and not as simple as it looks. You may want to have them done along with your cage. I'd check with a shop to see how long it takes them to build a cage so that you can plan your time accordingly.
Galway does make a good first event.

You also need to get the cage approved by a scrutineer, not sure how busy/available they are, it is a volunteer position. If you can do it and have everything done by GCFR, thats awesome! Go for it!!!

well there's not too much that goes back on. seats aren't to bad. just have to make sure everything lines up. make a mock up to make sure it will be comfortable(obviously comfort is not the point but i mean easy access to pedals and wheel) then put the seats and harnesses in.
its actually going be tight. i can get all the work done within a month. but im living in Upstate Ny right now and in the process of planning my move to Hamilton which wont be smooth no matter how i plan it.
i might push my rally debut back a couple months. ill take it day by day for now. i plan to be there but im not sure ill be ready
