Thanks to the 50+ who have volunteered to help at the 2009 Planet Motorsport  Black Bear Rally on Saturday, June 13, 2009. We have most positions covered but could use about another 10 people to assist with Start/Finish controls and mid-stage Traffic Controls.

Rally HQ is at the Carlow Mayo Township Community Centre on Mayo Lake Rd. in McArthur’s Mills just south of Hwy. 28 (about 25 minutes east of Bancroft on Hwy. 28).  Phone number at Rally HQ is 613-332-2380.

We will assist all volunteers to find accommodations. Some of the accommodations will be subsidized by the event.

Note – all workers will receive a T shirt, a free meal (genuine pig roast) after the rally and entry in the draw for the Clearwater Design kayak.

We are also still accepting volunteers for Friday with stage preparation and recce supervision.

The General Worker meeting is on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Rally HQ.
