07/20/9 at 20:27:22

Hi

I have 4 195/65R15 Hankook R201 Soft compound gravel tires.

I was going to use them on my rallycross car, but it won't be ready until the next one, if I am lucky.

These are BRAND NEW,

Regularly priced at $135 each, NOW $124.50 each.

Thanks

Dan

Photo of the tire design,

After visiting the rallycross this afternoon, I think a tire tread of this
sort will work rally well.

Thanks

Hi,

Can't speak for the organizers and what you may or may not aggree with,  BUT since this is the classifieds section, this is not a place to post your issues, you may want to think about that in the future and address any concern to the organizing commitee.

Now back to the tires:

If consider the price of snow tires, the possibility of having flats and the fact that rally tires will last for a 3-4 years of rally cross.  Not to mention the better traction that rally tires provide over snow tires.

Thanks

Dan

hey dan,

how would these compare to a hard gravel tire? are both hard and soft tires effective in most general rallyx conditions.... ie changing from nice hard dirt in the morning to puddles of mud by the afternoon...?

i might be interested in these for my crapalier.

after today's moat of a course im now wishing i had something beefier then snows, but id like one set of tires i can be competitive wish on lots of conditions.... as im broke  Smiley

Hi

I assume you Cavalier is still 2 wd and not an AWD monster copnversion,

The softs will provide a lot of grip and the track is short enough that you will not overheat them.

Soft compound tires are used for  colder temperatures or short stages or wet surfaces, depening on length, depending on  car power and stage length.

The rally cross events that I ran, I always used a soft compound.

With the 2 ed car, you can rotate front to back and can more life out of them.
