Sept Rally-X Video
09/29/9 at 16:27:12

Hey Guys,

I made a little video of the September Rally-x.

It involves some of people cars, so if your car is in it, and you don't want it to be, let me know and I'll remove the video.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy.

Great video. It was a great day when the heavy mud got thrown off the track. Can't wait untill the next one.

Yeah once the sun came out it was amazing, mud sucks. The last couple laps were rediculous, fast and bumpy.

Sorry to the guys i held up by getting stuck on lap 5. I didnt know they had moved that tractor tire over the inside part of a corner on the back stretch, so i had to drift wide to avoid it and got stuck in 2 feet of solid mud. Then we couldnt find anywhere to tow my cavalier out from cause most of it is just plastic haha.

Haha, don't worry about that last lap. It gave me a chance to get a pre-look at that corner you got stuck on.

If it wasn't for you holding me up, I probably would have cut that corner tight, and hit that giant tire  Shocked so thanks!

Good luck on getting that Subie you've been looking for, so at least you'll have a harder time getting stuck in that deep dirt Wink

Caged RS was a new guy named Damir- very experienced rallyist in Europe. Planet did a WRX drivetrain swap. Clutch blew. Damir plans to be at Pines.

It is in Bancroft (Fish & Game Club site) otherwise know as the Golton's. Yes there are a number of rally-X dates at that site.

This was one of the MLRC Rallycross events in Bancroft.

There is one this Sunday actually.

Check out http://mlrc.ca/rallycross/ for all the details on the upcoming rally-x's that the MLRC put on.

Grab a set of spare winter tires, and come on out. Its cheap, fun, and a great way to test out your skills. Just need an approved helmet, and in most cases, you can usually borrow someone's at the races.

luckly I ride motorcycles so i have a couple. what approval stamp does it have to have? One has Snell M2000/DOT and the other has DOT/ Certified To British Standards. Would that be good enough? And how much is the enterence fee? Thanks

Your M2000 helmet will be fine as long as you aren't in a caged car.

ya, no cage. I wont make it for tomorrow's event anyways because i just go my suspenion today. And hopefully i find some winter tires soon so at least i can do the bradford time rally. why cant you use a  M2000 rated helmet when the car has a cage in it?
