Reply #46 - 07/09/10 at 10:52:38 Newbie question: I currently have my summer tires on (on BBS rims, and I'm not a big fan of the tires), my only other set are my Winter tires on stock rims... am I better to switch to my winters for the race, or would I be ok on my summers?

I will update the Championship standings soon, sorry for not doing these sooner.

Please note that there are some changes from announced results on the day as there was a rule that was not recognised.

Yep, it has been a while, but the next event is coming up very soon. The September event is always my favorite as the weather is not hot and not cold.

Nothing set up Dave yet, but I am sure I could make a call to Elmers if there is a load of people. I stay at the Bancroft B&B which is really cheap on Rallycross weekends.

I might just sleep in the back of my Outback. Plenty of room back there.

Another question - Can we put stuff inside the F&G Club during the event? This weekend I am travelling to Bancroft and then when we are complete, I am heading to Peterborough for a 4 day conference, so I am travelling with luggage, computer etc. and I was hoping I could put that stuff inside.

I have read the rules and I know the stuff can't stay in the car. I can bring a tarp and cover it, but I am not thrilled with that idea.

A friend and myself are towing a car up for this weekends rallyx and we were discussing maybe camping the Saturday night but I'm thinking it might be nicer to wake up in a bed rather than the ground. Is there any places you guys would recommend to stay at for either camping or B&B/hotel?

Reply #59 - 09/23/10 at 20:17:43 I know there is a campsite just south of the rally-x site. I think it is called the Bancroft Tent & Trailer Park. I think James already recommended a B&B, but there are many others in the area.
