Volkswagon Oil Filters Cheeep!
01/05/10 at 16:53:41

Been cleaning up the garage and came across 7 new oil filters from my wifes old Passat.  These are genuine VW / Audi filters and are part number 056 115 561G.  I believe they are also used on some of the Golf engines.

I am looking for $20 for the lot.  Pickup in Markham or whatever we arrange.

Please PM me if interested.

Dave, what years of Passat were these for? I am not familiar with VW Part #'s. I have a 99 with the 1.8 turbo motor. If they are for that engine, I will take them.

It was a '92 Passat  2.0L EFI but when I did a quick check of the part number on the web, they seemed to cross to a number of other models.  For example, on the K & N site, the filter for the Passat matches a number of vehicles to present.  Possibly check with a dealer for the part # for your vehicle.

AFAIK, the filters are different, but will actually thread and seal. VW went with a larger filter on the 18T due to sludge issues.
