cancel that... guy is bringing it back. His mechanic quoted him an outragious price to certify it... including "headwork".

Sounds to me like someone has never heard a noisy hydraulic lifter on a mid-late '80s Audi/VW engine. Angry

So... still available. And I might be certifying it soon, just to avoid these hassles in the future.
