I have packed super high concentration DEET just in case, however

While attending a June Wedding on an Island in Algonquin Park a few years ago I noticed absolutly NO BUGS

Surprised I asked staff why and they advised they spray wit Paddock spray [used in horse paddocks]

I have not been able to locate and I am sure not suitable for one day use. However nice to stumble back to my cabin in the early hours after celebrating the wedding without one bug bite.

How did the first nations' people live with the man-eating bugs? They were out in the bush all the time. Anyway, something has come up and I won't be there. Enjoy.
