You asked for feedback here are my $0.02.

It's not "Race Day", its "Rally Day"  Wink

I think you need to move your in-car camera forward, so it is looking over your shoulder (check out Ferdinand T.'s videos of him and Martin Walter). Most of what we can see is the back of the driver's head. If you can add your audio (co-driver calls and any feedback you give him).

I don't know the particular's of your insurance but many people blur out their license plates before using still photo's. There have been a number of unfortunate issues with insurance companies due to this.

I like your mix of music stills and video.

Fair enough about the rally day but I still prefer race day personally.

That is a good point about moving the camera up, It was the first time using my Go-Pro so I had no idea what the shots would look like. Next time I plan on using Driver/ Co-Driver audio, I just didn't realize that you couldn't stick a cable through a solid waterproof case until we were out on stage Tongue

At least you can see the road in your video  Angry I didn't have any time between getting the car to run and the rally so I never had a chance to test it out.

Does your GoPro have a mic input? I don't think mine does (Motorsport Hero, SD), only output. I've been using a voice recorder and manually adding the audio in afterwards.

I concur on getting the driver/co-driver audio. I didn't realize how much I needed to work on some things when I was co-driving for Paul until we recorded our audio.

Seeing the issue you had at the Turn L5, check your notes for it and make sure you'll be able to understand it on stage. I had a similar issue, I slid really wide at that corner even with "deceptive" in the notes. Jeff had to call it as both Turn L5 and deceptive for me to get it in my head. Keep it in mind for Tall Pines.

That's a shame about your SS6 spin. I figured something like that happened. But then again I lost a ton of time on SS5 stuck behind poor Vince & Chuck on 3 wheels, so meh  Smiley

Yeah my Go-Pro has a mic input, I have the Motorsport Hero HD model. I just didn't make a camera mount in the car so it didnt have to be in its case. I will definitely have it setup for Pines though!
