Dave, despite the cold, it was a great day. Driving conditions were awesome.

I just want to send out a huge thanks to all the volunteers that braved the cold and helped put on the event!

Thank you very much!

Probably better due to the cold. It tends to keep things consistent and actually I find there is more grip than when it warms up and is greasy.

I was like James, I just returned from Mexico, late on Tuesday night and needed to take care of things on the home front after being away. My wife and I had our first real vacation without the kids in over 10 years, so it was nice.

Not sure if the word got around, but we started experiencing engine problems at 4 AM - on the way to Bancroft...

We had Sean come from Can-Jam with parts to try to fix at 7.30 AM, couldn't get it fixed.

Too bad, next time.

Missed ya Leo! You would have had fun. The track was deep snow with little icy patches.

See you at PN! Cheesy

Leo, meant to ask you last night at the AGM - did you get the car fixed?  What was wrong?

January Update v3

Thank you!

Oh my god it was cold, and I thank all the workers for coming out and helping in what felt like -30, oh wait, it was.

Febuary Event

Please remember to sign up online, it really really helps me to get things sorted out before Sunday morning.

Also, don't forget that the times have changed from last year, Registration opens at 0900 and the Drivers meeting is at 1000, this way we can try and get 6 runs in.

Car Prep

Rallycross does not mean you have to bring a full rally car. You can bring whatever you want but there are some items we will be looking for or request that you have:
  • A Muffler!! Noise is a big issue for us, please help us not get kicked out of Bancroft.
  • The right tyres. This is a winter event, there is Ice and snow. Summer tyres do not work.

Towing people out of the snow backs is all part of the fun, however if you find that you are in them more than racing, as I said in the second drivers meeting, take your time, take some presure out of the tyres and you will have more fun all round.

Facebook:

Don't forget that you can like the Rallycross page on Facebook:

And join the Club group here:

Thank you

it was in the 4wheel drive class :S i didnt know those things could be 4 wheel drive. but the weight probobly played a factor in the outcome i think.

That's not the reason. Dodge drivers are just better than the rest.
Just ask James.

Nice try Don, but in my case let it read:
"The colder it gets, the more I hibernate"
See you when it warms up a bit.
